Purpose
We know you are excited about your child being a part of the Amani family and we are excited to have them here! The purpose of the PTA is to promote a positive, working relationship between parents and teachers. We decide what fundraisers to have, where the money will be allocated from those fund raisers and how we can ensure the success of your child at Amani Charter School.
Children benefit
Research shows that children perform better when parents are engaged in education both at home and at school. By joining the PTA, your child will see first hand the importance you place on education. PTA is the largest child advocacy organization in the country, and advocates for all children.
Schools benefit
PTA provides support for administrators and teachers. PTA strives to create a positive and caring atmosphere in the school (and virtually).
PTA addresses issues that are important to parents and school administrators. PTA partners with a variety of programs that enhance schools. They advocate for funding and issues that affect various aspects of education and student wellbeing.
